Yasmeen R. Khan, M.D.

Dr. Yasmeen Khan is board certified in Adult and Pediatric Allergy Immunology. She joined Asthma and Allergy Associates of Florida in 2014 after completing her fellowship training at the State University of New York in Buffalo. She specializes in treating a variety of allergic conditions including asthma, allergic rhinitis, sinus disease including polyps, atopic and contact dermatitis, food allergies, eosinophilic esophagitis, chronic urticaria and primary immunodeficiency disorders. Dr. Khan has a special interest in asthma and inhaled medication delivery as she completed a clinical research fellowship in Asthma/Allergy at the University of Florida. She has numerous publications on inhaled medication delivery.

She earned her medical degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College, in Delhi, India; a premier all women’s medical school (the only one in the world). She earned her MD in Pharmacology from Maulana Azad Medical College; Delhi and has a special interest in optimizing medication use and patient education on the safety profile. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training from the University of Miami.

When not working, you will find Dr. Khan walking or biking. She is a big believer in home cooked meals and not wasting food. She carries lunch to work every day. She does enjoy eating out with family over the weekends.
